Enviro group, a successful environmental engineering business house, based at Delhi with head quarters at Gurgaon, comprising of seven companies, decided to diversify into Tourism, Plantation and Hospitality business in 1997. In this venture the group established ENVIRO GREEN Resorts P. Ltd., a dedicated company to start a Strategic Business Unit in this direction and started a wholly self financed Hybrid timber plantation business unit in North District of Goan hinterland near Valpoi, Sattari, Goa.

Following this objective corporate establishment the group decided to acquire additional properties in Panjim or immediate neighborhood and launch it’s first concept Boutique hotel, positioned as a ‘small elite residency’ styled personalized service oriented resort facility, where the management plans to market premium holiday Destination packages to cater to select tour groups amongst elite foreign and domestic tourists. Thus a project was conceived in 1998 to acquire an old Goan/Portugese heritage building and start an elite hotel service in the name of ENVIRO GREEN Resorts.
